Relationships are central to our existence. In a healthy relationship, if we are happy with someone, we are happy in ourselves. If they are happy in themselves we are happy in ourselves. It seems circular but when the circularity of the relationship seems to stop flowing, that is when we may need help in addressing the issues that are there. The relationship helps make us better people. We are who we are because of our past, our environment and where we are now. Once we get into relationship, we will find that our past can touch and trigger issues with with each other. The work for the couple in therapy is to address the past and find a new and happy equilibrium.


I work with issues such as: anxiety regarding relationships and intimacy, life changes, issues of abuse from the past, abandonment and commitment issues. I work using a variety of approaches but the Imago approach is certral to how I work with couples.
